Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson reeled in two touchdowns Week 1, yet he'll play second-fiddle to a man on the opposing sideline when he faces the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday: Julio Jones.

Jones, an elite threat and arguably the game's No. 1 receiver, reels in a viewership anytime he steps onto the gridiron. On Sunday night, he'll get to do that on primetime TV.

That doesn't mean Jackson isn't trying to one-up the receiver from Atlanta. With the lights shining brighter, the Eagles deep threat can equally wow audiences looking for high-level receiver play on Sunday night.

“Obviously, Julio is one of the best in the league, we all know that,” Jackson said on Friday, via Jeff Skversky of 6ABC. “He’s done some miraculous things. The numbers speak for themselves. Any time you play against another team that has a big-time receiver (you ask), ‘Can I get more big plays than he can? Or can Alshon (Jeffery) or Nelly (Nelson Agholor), someone on our side.’

We know what we are going up against, I think our defense knows as well. I think the Atlanta Falcons defense knows what they are going up against as well too. So, we feel confident in ourself and what we are going to do.”

While Jones is on the upper echelon for NFL receivers, Jackson outplayed him Week 1. The Eagles receiver caught eight balls for 154 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Washington Redskins. Jones: six for 31 in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Despite a lowly first game, however,  Jones — the league's highest-paid receiver — has the ability to wow Jackson and the Eagles on Sunday. Likewise, Jackson can do the same to Jones and the Falcons.
