DeSean Jackson is attempting to bounce back in 2020 after an injury-riddled campaign in 2019, and he's putting work in with one of his new teammates. While the Philadelphia Eagles haven't had much time to practice as a team, Jackson was seen working out with rookie Jalen Hurts.

Of course, the Eagles are still one-hundred percent on board with Carson Wentz as their franchise quarterback. Before the 2019 season, Philadelphia gave Wentz a lucrative four-year extension.

Nevertheless, in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Eagles surprisingly took Hurts. Despite Wentz being under center, Philadelphia wants to incorporate Hurts in their offense. However, the lack of an offseason could limit the role that Hurts receives in 2020.

At the least, the rookie signal-caller is building chemistry with one of his new teammates in Jackson. The Oklahoma product revealed pictures on his Instagram story of him throwing to the veteran wide receiver. Even though fans will be fond of seeing Hurts spending time with teammates on the field, it likely isn't a welcomed sight for the NFLPA.

In recent weeks, more and more players have been holding private workouts with teammates. At the same time, there has been a sudden uptick in NFL players to test positive for COVID-19. As a result, the NFLPA advised players to refrain from conducting private workouts this offseason.

Heading into next season, it remains to be seen how much the Eagles choose to utilize Hurts in their offense. With that being said, he is preparing himself to throw the ball to some of the starters — including Jackson.
