Devonta Smith's first season as a pro has been a memorable one, thus far. He just made it even more unforgettable when he broke the Philadelphia Eagles' single-season rookie record for receiving yards in Week 18's home game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Smith broke the record previously held by DeSean Jackson in style, jumping high up in the air and extending his body to the limit to pull down a pass from quarterback Gardner Minshew.

Jackson had his sweet time with the record, which was in his possession for over a decade. When he entered the league in 2008, he went off for 912 receiving yards to go with two touchdown catches and 62 total receptions in 16 games as a rookie for the Eagles. Of course, Smith benefited from the NFL's expanded regular season, as he wouldn't have surpassed Jackson without a Week 18. He entered the game against the Cowboys with 875 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 61 receptions and 100 targets.

Smith, who was selected 10th overall by Philly in the 2021 NFL Draft,  can add more to his overall tally this season with the Eagles set to play in the playoffs for the first time since the 2019 season regardless of the outcome of their date with Dallas Saturday night.
