The Philadelphia Eagles still couldn't get over the hump as they find themselves in a two-game losing skid. Despite the struggles, head coach Doug Pederson remained mum on his decision to start rookie gunslinger Jalen Hurts to replace the team's QB1 in Carson Wentz even for a couple of games, via The Philadelphia Inquirer‘s Jeff McLane.

As per the veteran head coach, Hurts still saw the same amount of reps with the first team as he would on any given week which was an indication that the team will most likely stick it out with Wentz playing under center for the time being.

The North Dakota State product disappointed anew in their Week 11 tiff against the Cleveland Browns where he threw inefficiently on a 21/35 clip for 235 passing yards and two touchdowns.

A dominant Browns defensive rotation without its star pass rusher in Myles Garrett managed to haunt Wentz all throughout the game as he was forced to throw two interceptions and was also sacked five times.

The fifth-year playmaker also found little help from both the team's aerial and ground weapons which eventually led to a 22-17 loss which dropped them to a 3-6-1 record, good for the second spot in the NFC East.

All hopes are still entrusted on Wentz's shoulders as he aims to bounce back and lead the Eagles into the 2020 NFL Playoffs. Anything less could cause him to see his time expire in Philadelphia with Jalen Hurts already waiting on the wings looking to replace him anytime soon.
