During his media session on Tuesday, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson welcomed new Philadelphia 76ers coach Doc Rivers to Philly.

While Pederson said he's never had the pleasure of meeting Rivers, the Eagles coach is looking forward to developing a relationship with Doc (via Eagles on Twitter).

Doug Pederson is in a good mood, as his Eagles finally earned their first win of the 2020 season by defeating the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football in Week 4. The Eagles are now atop the NFC East standings with a record of 1-2-1.

Pederson and the Eagles will look to improve to 2-2-1 in Week 5 when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are 3-0 on the young season.

Doc Rivers is taking over for Brett Brown on the Sixers, who were swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Rivers will quickly find out that Philadelphia fans can be ruthless if the team doesn't meet expectations.

Pederson, who guided the Eagles to the 2017 Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, can help Rivers in that aspect since he's been in Philly since 2016.

Last season, Pederson and Philly lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card game by a final score of 17-9. The team is motivated to redeem themselves this season, but thus far, they haven't exactly looked like a playoff team.
