With the full-roster training camps now underway, the NFL teams and its players are putting in the work to prepare for the upcoming season. However, it seems like other things are going for the Philadelphia Eagles, specifically its quarterback Carson Wentz.

Center Jason Kelce humorously joked on Wentz's shape via The Athletic's Zach Berman on Twitter:

Jason Kelce is one of the Eagles' elder statesmen in the team. He was drafted way back in the 2011 NFL Draft. However, his career has gone better with age as he still managed to bag several awards in recent years. He is currently a three-time first-team All-Pro member from 2017-2019, a three-time Pro Bowler (2014, 2016, 2019), and a 2017 Super Bowl LII champion. He has also played and started in all 126 games of his career with the Eagles thus far.

On the other hand, Carson Wentz also has a respectable career going well for him. On June 6, 2019, the Eagles signed Wentz to a four-year, $128 million contract extension, keeping him under contract through the 2024 season.

The North Dakota State product finished the 2019 season with 4,039 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He became the first quarterback in franchise history to pass for at least 4,000 yards and the first in the league to do so without any receiver catching at least 500 yards.

However, in the 2019 NFC Wild Card game against the Seattle Seahawks, Wentz left the game with a head injury in the first quarter after playing just nine snaps. The Eagles went on to have a 17–9 losing effort to exit the playoff picture.

The two players will be key pieces for the Eagles as they aim to clinch the NFC East for the second-straight year. A deeper playoff run is also expected by many for the Philly-based team in the upcoming season.
