Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce gave an epic speech from the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art during the team’s victory parade. It’s been talked about and replayed countless times in the days since. Now that he’s had time to think about it, he’s wondering if he may have done something wrong.

If so, did he say something team owner Jeffrey Lurie, general manager Howie Rosman, or head coach Doug Pederson would be angry about?

“I didn’t know how Howie or Doug or Jeffrey were going to take this, which was one of the things I looked at when I actually watched the [speech],” Kelce said, via Philly.com. “After the speech, I’d been at the parade all day and wondered, ‘Did I say anything stupid? Did I do anything dumb?'”

At the time, he didn’t think anything of going blue collar with his speech and cursing a bit. People have gotten offended by much less in the past, though. What if they were to do so with him and complain to the team? Could there be repercussions?

So far, there haven’t been any rumblings from Lurie or anyone in the Eagles front office. However, you can never say never in the NFL. It wouldn’t be shocking for something to come down from the league brass weeks after the speech. If the Eagles brass were was going to, they would have by now. Roger Goodell is also unlikely to get involved, but you can never be completely sure these days.
