Jason Kelce might be retiring from the NFL after spending his entire professional career with the Philadelphia Eagles. This is a big possibility, but head coach Nick Sirianni isn't letting the veteran center leave his team without a fight. Sirianni told Philadelphia Sports Radio 94.1 WIP Thursday morning that he bribed Kelce to continue his career with kegs of beer.

“I sent him two kegs of beer yesterday,” the rookie head coach told radio host Angelo Cataldi. Kelce is known to love his beer. He spent time last summer at a popular bar in Sea Isle City, New Jersey both bartending and drinking to promote the Eagles Autism Awareness Initiative.

An Eagles fan even offered the Super Bowl champion a Bud Light after their win at the road season opener against the Atlanta Falcons, per Total Pro Sports.

It is unclear whether or not Sirianni hooked him up with his beer of choice on Wednesday, but there's a good chance the two kegs were full of Bud Light.

Sirianni went on to call Kelce an “unbelievable leader,” “great player,” and the “backbone of this team.” While he acknowledges that the 34-year-old must do what's best for him and his family, Sirianni said that he'll “be trying to convince him every single day” to come back and play.
