The Philadelphia Eagles had an extremely productive night on Thursday. They picked up defensive tackle Jordan Davis and scored AJ Brown in a trade with the Tennessee Titans. The young star is arguably a top-five receiver in the NFL. Needless to say, Eagles fans lost their minds over the astonishing acquisition.

Philadelphia fans weren't the only ones freaking out. Jason Kelce was watching the 2022 NFL Draft live with Bleacher Report's Adam Lefkoe. The sports news outlet tweeted the moment that Kelce found out that Brown was headed to Philadelphia.

“What? AJ Brown?” the Eagles center stood up to get a clearer view at the stunning news. “This is big! How about that one,” he said, followed by a round of applause.

“Howie Roseman is working that Howie Roseman magic. That's what's going on…He's moving up in the draft to get Jordan Davis and now he's trading to get an unbelievable receiver.”

There's no doubt that Kelce is pleased with his choice to continue his NFL career for another year. The veteran center was contemplating retirement following the 2021-2022 season.

“I'm like on Christmas right now. Howie Roseman is Santa Claus,” he said Thursday night.

Despite starting with three first-round picks at the beginning of the offseason, the Eagles ended up only using one come draft day. However, Roseman and company definitely used the other two picks wisely and scored a top, established receiver in the process.
