Jason Peters is ready to bring the smoke back to the New Orleans Saints. The Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints are set to face off in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.

According to reports, the Philadelphia Eagles' left tackle Jason Peters has been itching to get back onto the field, with his team, and face off against the Saints.

Peters said that the team was looking to bring the heat back to the Saints ever since the Eagles got the one-sided beatdown of their careers from the team.

“We didn’t play well at all. They ran up the score. We wanted them again, we got them again. This time, hey, we coming. It’s definitely not going to be the same outcome.”

Fans will recall that the Saints earned the second-biggest point differential in any game in the 2018 regular season against the Eagles, when they earned a 41-point margin of victory. The Saints were already leading in the fourth quarter, at a spread of 38-7, when quarterback Drew Brees threw a 37-yard touchdown pass to Alvin Kamara. New Orleans later added a field goal, and the 41-point margin of victory was the second-biggest point differential in any game in the 2018 regular season.

It's unclear when Jason Peters and the Eagles will be facing off against the Saints again, but one thing is for sure: he's ready when they are.

Make sure to tune in to the game this weekend at 4:40 p.m. EST on FOX to see the Eagles take on the Saints in New Orleans.
