Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson has done a lot of talking about the New England Patriots this NFL offseason, and he was back at it again on Monday. The Patriots and Eagles face off this week in each of the team's second preseason game, and Johnson said he has been looking forward to this since the Super Bowl last year.

“I'm ready,” Johnson said, via KYW Newsradio. “I've been waiting on this ever since the Super Bowl was over with. It's time.”

It's interesting that a player would be so excited for a preseason game, but it could be just another tactic in hopes of getting Patriots fans fed up.

A few weeks after winning the Super Bowl, Johnson told Pardon My Take that the Patriots were a fear-based organization and no one had fun there. Safety Duron Harmon clapped back at Johnson saying they had a lot of fun because they are winning games.

“You can say we don’t have fun here and we don’t do this, but at the end of the day I have a lot of fun because we win a lot,” Harmon said via WEEI Radio. “That is what this game is about. It’s about winning. I am around a great group of guys, great group of coaches, great organization. So, when you’re working hard at a goal to win, it’s fun.”

It's just a preseason game, but maybe these comments will add a little extra juice, and it will be a storyline to watch going into the game.
