The No. 13 was previously worn by receiver Nelson Agholor, who signed a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.

After trading for Goodwin, the Eagles restructured his contract for next season. They agreed to a one-year, $1.35 million restructured deal. This past season with 49ers, Goodwin caught making 12 catches for 186 yards and a touchdown. However, he did suffer from numerous injuries last season and finished the year on injured reserve.

Nevertheless, Goodwin is a quick and speedy receiver that can open the field up. In his seven seasons in the NFL, Goodwin has made 140 catches for 2,323 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Goodwin will also get the opportunity to team up with DeSean Jackson, another speedy receiver the Eagles have. In a recent YouTube Live, Goodwin was asked if he's excited about teaming up with Jackson on offense.

“Hell yeah. Yes. Why do I say it like that? I've been on cuz since… well, I don't know him personally. I ain't gonna cap. But I've been a big fan of his since he's been in the league. Since college, really. I got to meet D Jack my senior year in college, so I can't wait to play alongside him. We're gonna do some work, for sure.”

This past season, quarterback Carson Wentz didn't have much help with the receivers they had. However, after trading for Goodwin and pairing him up with Jackson on offense, Wentz will have plenty to work with.
