Mike Trout, the All-Star outfielder for the Los Angeles Angels, is known to be a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Trout has high expectations for his favorite NFL team in the 2019 season.

At the MLB All-Star Game Media Day, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports asked the outfielder what Trout's expectations were for the team in 2019. Trout didn't hesitate to say the Eagles were going to the Super Bowl this season.

His prediction isn't far-fetched as the Eagles have a roster that is talented enough to make a Super Bowl in 2019 with the return of Carson Wentz. Philadelphia has added a ton of new players that could propel the Eagles back into the biggest stage in football.

In the past couple of seasons, the Eagles have turned into constant contenders with how they've built their roster. Just a couple of seasons ago, the Eagles were able to defeat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl to bring home their first championship in their team's history.

Now, Philadelphia is itching to get back to the Super Bowl for a chance to bring home the Lombardi trophy. This offseason, the Eagles were able to add Jordan Howard, Desean Jackson, Miles Sanders, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside to an already stacked offense.

Plus, on defense, Philadelphia brought in Malik Jackson and Zach Brown to beef up their front seven. Although, Malcolm Jenkins isn't ready to crown this team as a contending team just yet.

“That's all on paper,” Jenkins said (via Eagles Press Pass). “Talking about what team is better, but this team in this locker room hasn't won a game yet.”

Nonetheless, Mike Trout sees the Eagles making the Super Bowl in 2019 which is definitely in the realm of possibility.
