The Philadelphia Eagles have a laundry list of free agents set to hit the market this offseason. Among the players whose futures are still uncertain is wide receiver Nelson Agholor.

Let it be known that Nelson Agholor is one of 14 players on the Eagles roster that will become unrestricted free agents this offseason. However, his primary focus is on recovering from a knee injury, via Nick Fierro of the Courier Times:

“It’s something that we’re going to focus on [later],” Agholor said. “Right now, it’s getting healthy. And we’ll have the conversation with [General Manager] Howie [Roseman] and everybody else when the time is right.”

Agholor also touched up on some of the specifics of his injury.

“It’s a degloving injury,” Agholor revealed for the first time. “It’s something that happens when people get into car accidents, and it’s a sheering of the tissue that forms continuous inflammation.”

Agholor still has yet to determine a timetable for his injury since there are a number of factors to consider, however, he did acknowledge the possibility of having to get surgery if it does not heal right away.

Nelson Agholor had generated some hype coming into the 2019 NFL season after finally showing some promise in the previous two seasons. Unfortunately, he failed to follow through after registering just 39 catches for 363 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games while struggling with drops and injuries.

It is easy to see why Agholor has now put an emphasis on getting back to 100 percent rather than worry about his next potential landing spot. If he is going to garner interest from any teams on the market, he will need to first make sure that he is as healthy as possible in order to spark a potential resurgence.

The Eagles were crushed on the offensive line this season, partly by injuries and partly by a lack of depth. Agholor has to consider where he fits into the Eagles' offense as he ponders his future.
