Despite having a real Super Bowl chance, with quarterback Carson Wentz done for the season, the Philadelphia Eagles have shown zero interest in Colin Kaepernick.

This is according to what league sources have told Pro Football Talk.

For now, it appears as though the Eagles are going to hope that Nick Foles can do more than just be a guy trying to manage games in the absence of Wentz. To be somewhat fair to Foles, he is more familiar with the system than anyone currently not on a National Football League roster.

Then again, it would be silly for Philly to not at least call players like Tony Romo or Colin Kaepernick. Even if the former is unrealistic, with the latter maybe not being the team's cup of tea, they would be presumed upgrades at the position.

Heck, even if you don't believe either happen to be better than Foles — for some weird reason — the franchise could sure use a backup in case Foles went down in injury.

Nevertheless, the Eagles are a really great and dynamic team. Not too mention, at least with Wentz, they were incredibly fun to watch. Nothing against Nick Foles, but he's unlikely to be that kind of fun. After all, 2013 might as well be nine decades ago.
