There are less than two weeks until the 2020 NFL Draft. The Philadelphia Eagles are still uncertain of what they want to do in the first round. With time ticking down, Philadelphia is ā€˜doing homework' on Cesar Ruiz, per Jeff Skversky of 6ABC News.

Throughout the pre-draft process, Ruiz has been considered the best interior offensive linemen available in this year's draft. Coming out of Michigan, Ruiz spent most of his time at the center position. However, he's capable of sliding to guard if a team needs him to.

On the other hand, the Eagles have been projected to take a linebacker or wide receiver with the No. 21 pick. Or some scouts or analysts have Philadelphia pinned as a team that could trade up to get a player they want.

While Ruiz is a coveted prospect, some may question Philadelphia's interest in Ruiz. With Jason Kelce manning the center spot, the Eagles don't possess a glaring need at that position. In addition, Brandon Brooks is expected to return at right guard in 2020.

But if the Eagles are concerned with Isaac Seumalo at left guard, they could be gathering interest in Ruiz. The Michigan product would definitely make it easier to keep Carson Wentz upright next season.

Altogether, when deciphering what the Eagles should do with the No. 21 pick, it makes the most sense for them to select a linebacker or wide receiver. There's no doubt that Philadelphia would surprise some fans if they decided to take Ruiz instead of a player at a position of need.
