With the Tyreek Hill trade now official, the Miami Dolphins have an expandable wide receiver: DeVante Parker. The 29-year-old has been a key piece of the team's offense but is now the odd man out with Hill, Jaylen Waddle and new addition Cedrick Wilson Jr. The Philadelphia Eagles could pluck the veteran out of the crowded WR room to add him to their own.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Eagles are among several teams interested in Parker, who is a strong candidate to be moved. Since they need some receiving help for Jalen Hurts, acquiring Parker makes plenty of sense.

In 10 games last season, Parker recorded 515 receiving yards, 4o receptions and a pair of touchdowns. He was placed on the injured reserve after aggravating a hamstring injury in practice in November but returned to play the final five games of the season. He tallied 1,202 receiving yards in 2019.

As Philadelphia looks for options to pair with DeVonta Smith, they should heavily consider the 6-foot-3 Parker. He is under contract for the next two seasons with cap hits that are just under $9 million in each of those seasons, so trading for him should not be too difficult.

For Hurts' sake, the Eagles need a solid WR2 for their offense. Smith had a very strong rookie season, Dallas Goedert is a solid option at tight end and Quez Watkins could break out as a true weapon this upcoming season. Outside of those three, there is very little stability in the team's receiving core. The front office has a very shaky track record with drafting wide receivers, so adding a veteran would make sense.
