When something needs to be said, Terry Bradshaw is always there. Let's count our lucky stars he's still here while this NFL-White House issue is unraveling before our very eyes.

While eating a meal in New York City, the four-time Super Bowl champ who once appeared in the same television universe as Al Bundy (four touchdowns in one game for Polk High) decided to put President Donald Trump on blast while fully supporting the Philadelphia Eagles, via TMZ.

“I agree with the Eagles, totally, 100 percent,” Bradshaw said. “Trump just needs to …  go somewhere and enjoy the money he’s got.”

“You know what’s so bad about that whole event was how they were portrayed as protesting, kneeling during the national anthem? They were praying. That is just wrong. Listen, First Amendment rights, I totally believe in them.” (FOX News has since apologized for creating the impression that Eagles players were kneeling during the anthem.)

Bradshaw's words—while interrupted at dinner very abruptly by TMZ—aren't needed to explain the top sports story in the world the last week or so. President Donald Trump canceled the annual Super Bowl champion visit to the White House after it was known that only a reported handful of players were actually attending.

Many Eagles, namely Malcolm Jenkins, have since come out publicly in discussing the team's vantage point in this mess of a situation.

We now know Pittsburgh Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw is all about those boys as well.

Bradshaw will receive extra face-time this coming season as it's since been announced that he'll be a part of FOX Sports' Thursday Night Football.
