With all signs pointing towards Nick Foles starting for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Los Angeles Rams, Zach Ertz knows the team has full confidence in him. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, starting quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with a big injury and there are doubts if he will be able to suit up again this season.

It was last year against the Los Angeles Rams that Wentz was injured and Foles had to come in to lead the team to a victory, and the NFC East title.

The rest was history as Foles kept winning the Eagles games all the way to the Super Bowl victory and Super Bowl MVP. Ertz knows the team loves playing for Foles, especially after what he did last year and that's why there is such a sense of confidence.

“I saw Nick, a lot of guys saw Nick, and kind of called him out,” Ertz said via ESPN. “I just wanted everyone to know that everyone has full confidence in the guy. No one is asking him to do too much. We just want him to be himself. But at the same time, guys love playing for him. Guys love his personality. And I wanted him to know that everyone had his back.”

This also could be a big addition for the offseason for Foles. With a good performance to end the season he could earn himself a nice contract with another team. Foles will also make a $250,000 bonus for each game he plays at least one-third of the snaps so Foles wallet also looks to be getting a little fatter.
