Even though Philadelphia Eagles superstar quarterback Carson Wentz is done for the season, he doesn't want to be finished being an important member on the roster.

More bluntly put: Carson Wentz wants to remain in the loop even while being loopy.

“It’s obviously disappointing, but the surgery went well, from what I heard and what he said,” backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld said. “He was feeling pretty loopy after the anesthesia, . . .  He was just ordering a burger and talking about, he was trying to figure out some of the new plays we put in.”

He was what?

That is amazing, honestly. Dude was just done being put under the knife, likely on all the crazy meds, and he wanted to be updated on the new plays the Eagles were putting in the offense.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear those backless medical garments.

Sudfeld said he asked Wentz, “are you sure you want to know right now?”

With Wentz out for the remainder of the season, but with the rest of the roster built for a Super Bowl run, it appears to be up to Nick Foles to replace one of the league's top signal-callers. No pressure or anything.

You guys think he can do it?
