The Philadelphia Eagles are still in the midst of celebrating their historic victory in Super Bowl 52. Unfortunately, as with any team that wins a championship, there is bound to be some kind of fallout.

The biggest question this offseason is what team quarterback Nick Foles will be playing for in the 2018 NFL season. However, according to ESPN's Tim McManus, the Eagles may not be as inclined to give up Foles as some may have assumed:

There's sure to be at least some level of interest for the Super Bowl MVP, but the Eagles are in the business of collecting talent at quarterback, not giving it away. With one year left on his deal, it seems unlikely a team would pony up what it would take for the Eagles to part ways with Foles.

There was some speculation that a possible quarterback battle could be brewing between Foles and Carson Wentz. However, it is clear that the young gunslinger is Philadelphia's quarterback of the future regardless of injury.

As a result, many have rightfully assumed that the Eagles will deal Foles at some point this offseason. Any signal-caller coming off a championship run is bound to garner plenty of interest, especially with the bevy of quarterback-hungry teams in the league right now. Unfortunately, Foles has just one year left on his deal which means teams may be less inclined to meet Philadelphia's asking price.

That said, the Eagles could decide to just keep him for another season rather than get the short end of a potential deal. With Wentz still nursing a devastating knee injury, having Foles as a backup could serve them well in their title defense next season.
