Throughout the last several weeks, Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz has continued to make progress in his recovery from a torn ACL and LCL that he suffered back in December.

The rate of recovery has created a tremendous amount of optimism from the Eagles that he could be ready to take the field by the season opener for the 2018 campaign. Wentz has once again further extenuated that may be the case after throwing a 60-yard laser down the field to a kid.

What was most impressive about the throw was that he made it look it effortless tossing it accurately that distance down the field. Wentz was able to do that without any hesitation on the entire throwing process that only speaks to where he's at physically at this point in his recovery from the injuries that he's less than eight months removed.

Although this is yet another telling sign, the Eagles will likely continue to remain cautious with the entire situation given what ailments he is making his way back from along with the importance he plays with the franchise's future. Philadelphia is hoping that he can be the long-term solution under center that can lead them to more Super Bowls over the next several years.

Wentz has already established himself as one of the top young quarterbacks in the league behind his stellar play last season prior to the injuries.

In fact, he was on pace to possibly earn the MVP award given the huge leap he made his performance on the field in his second campaign in the league. The future is bright for the Eagles, and Wentz is a considerable part of that optimism around the team, which makes this throw that much more encouraging of what's to come this upcoming season in Philadelphia.
