Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders blew past the Baltimore Ravens' defensive line with a beautiful fake that nearly ended in disaster when the ball came loose from Sanders' grip, before wide-receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside came to the rescue with the touchdown recovery.

Hoping to cap what was a 74-yard run by Sanders, the second year back from the Eagles attempted to get an inside lane towards the endzone, and avoid being pushed out of bounds, when the Ravens' free safety DeShon Elliot punched loose the exposed ball from Sanders' hand. Though clearly a fumble, Philadelphia caught a lucky break when the football carried into the endzone and into clear view of Arcega-Whiteside, who jumped on top of it for the score.

Not only was the touchdown a gift for the wideoutā€“and the Eagles for that matterā€“it was his first score of the year and second of his career, in a season that has seen him only bring in one catch.

While the recovery was a bright spot for the Philadelphia squad, on a day that saw them down 17-0 early, the play also an apparent injury to Sanders, who missed the following two drives. Sustaining what the Eagles are describing as a knee injury, the back is questionable to return.
