A new Elden Ring leak has arrived. Though not really very watchable, it's still a good sign for us waiting on this fantasy game.

ELDEN RING LEAK SHOWS GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE, TRAILER

First announced in 2019, fans have been anticipating Elden Ring. They hunger for every bit of news about this rather-secretive project born out of a collaboration between Dark Souls-creators FromSoftware and A Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin. Hence, when a rumor about an Elden Ring trailer emerged, many people got excited.

News about Elden Ring has been arriving in just tiny little details, and it's been so long since we've seen a new Elden Ring footage that some fans may already have a blurred memory of the game. Well, the new Elden Ring leak may just be as muddled as the game in your memory. The 66-second gameplay trailer being passed around in private circles is very low-quality. Still, we get to see glimpses of the gameplay depicted in the trailer. We also hear some lines from the game's narrator, directly referencing the titular Elden Ring.

Formal news coverage by video game journalists on the blurred video started with The Video Games Chronicle. They reported about the supposed leak, claiming that they cannot show it for legal reasons. Still, they updated the article once the video reached social media platforms, notably on Twitter.

Later, Jason Schreier, reporting for Bloomberg, corroborated VGC's claim that the video is legitimate. He claims to have seen footage of the gameplay trailer, and confirms that the version he saw was indeed blurry.

Hence, we can believe that this Elden Ring leak is indeed the real deal. But if we're looking for any new info about the game, then it'd just be better to wait for announcements directly from FromSoftware and Bandai Namco.
