This Thursday will be the start of Epic Games Store's Holiday Mystery Gift Giveaway. For two weeks after Thursday, users who visit the Epic Games Store will receive one free game each day. So, grab Prison Architect and Godfall Challenger Edition while you still can. Those two will be the last “weekly” free game for a while.
What games are we getting this Holiday from the Epic Santa? We don't know yet, but there are leaks that could possibly be true. Dealabs user bill-bil kun says that Shenmue 3 will be the first game on the list. Bill-bil kun has previously correctly predicted the new games coming to PS+ for the -ber months, as well as what will be coming to the Xbox Live Games with Gold service this December. Hence, there is higher likelihood that his prediction for this one will come true as well.
In spite of this leak, there is still no official confirmation from the side of Epic Games what the first “Mystery Game” will be. Hence, all we can do is wait and see as Thursday rolls over and we finally get our hands on the first free game we'll be getting. Last year's lineup started strong with Cities: Skyline, so we can have a little bit of optimism this year as well. Maybe we're finally getting Dying Light?
