Considering the wild finish of the Euro 2020 championship, it's easy to say no one could have predicted such result. However, one man accurately did so … eight years ago.

Apparently, Twitter user @lawseyitfc predicted in 2013 that England would lose in the Euro 2020 final to Italy via penalty shoot-out. While it didn't include the score, the fact that it correctly mentioned the finalists and the way the game would be decided is just pure Nostradamus trickery.

And for those calling it fake, you just have to see the real tweet to believe. You just can't make this up.

Is this man a fortune teller or what?

Well, for some context, the tweet came over half a year after the Euro 2012 hosted by Poland and Ukraine. In the quarter-final of the event, England and Italy faced each other. And want to guess how it ended up? Yes, the Three Lions lost on penalties 4-2 after a 0-0 scoreline in regulation.

While there is certainly some inspiration behind the prediction, it's just crazy to think that it got everything right–which is also the reason why has gone viral since the dramatic Euro 2020  ending at Wembley.

For bettors, they would have probably wished they saw the said tweet first before all those “Football is coming home” tweets ahead of Euro 2020. But then again, it's hard to believe a random prediction until it comes true.
