Since joining the NBA back in 1989, the Orlando Magic franchise has gone 1,188-1,289 in the regular season and made the playoffs 15 times. The organization has zero championships but has also been home to some of the best players in NBA history at some point in time.

For this piece, we take a look at every trade deadline move the Magic franchise has made in its history. Just like every other team in the NBA, Orlando has made some great deadline deals and some awful ones.

1995-96

The Magic traded Jeff Turner to the Vancouver Grizzlies for Kenny Gattison and a 1996 second-round pick.

1997-98

Orlando sent Brian Evans and Rony Seikaly to the New Jersey Nets for David Benoit, Yinka Dare, Kevin Edwards and a 1998 first-round pick.

1999-00

The Magic dealt Tariq Abdul-Wahad, Chris Gatling and a future first-round pick to the Denver Nuggets for Chauncey Billups, Ron Mercer and Johnny Taylor. Denver accepted Omar Cook from Orlando on June 26, 2001 in lieu of the future first-round pick.

Orlando also sent a 2004 second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks for Anthony Johnson.

2002-03

The Magic traded Ryan Humphrey, Mike Miller, a 2003 first-round pick and a 2004 second-round pick to the Memphis Grizzlies for Gordan Giriček and Drew Gooden.

2003-04

Orlando dealt Shammond Williams to the New Orleans Hornets for Sean Rooks.

The Magic also sent Gordan Giriček to the Utah Jazz for DeShawn Stevenson and a 2007 second-round pick.

2005-06

Orlando traded Kelvin Cato and a 2007 first-round pick to the Detroit Pistons for Carlos Arroyo and Darko Milicic.

The Magic also dealt Steve Francis to the New York Knicks for Trevor Ariza and Anfernee Hardaway.

2008-09

Orlando started the deadline by sending  Keith Bogans and cash to the Milwaukee Bucks for Tyronn Lue. The Magic then sent Adonal Foyle, Mike Wilks and a 2009 first-round pick to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Orlando also traded Brian Cook to the Houston Rockets and acquired Rafer Alston from Houston.

2012-13

The Magic dealt Josh McRoberts to the Charlotte Bobcats for Hakim Warrick.

Orlando also traded Gustavo Ayon, JJ Redick and Ish Smith to the Milwaukee Bucks for Tobias Harris, Doron Lamb, Beno Udrih and cash.

2015-16

The Magic sent Tobias Harris to the  Pistons for Ersan İlyasova and Brandon Jennings.

Orlando also traded Channing Frye to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Jared Cunningham.

2016-17

The Magic dealt Serge Ibaka to the Toronto Raptors for Terrence Ross and a 2017 first-round pick.

2017-18

Orlando sent Elfrid Payton to the Phoenix Suns for a 2018 second-round pick.

2018-19

The Magic traded Jonathon Simmons, a 2019 second-round pick and a 2020 first-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Markelle Fultz.

2019-20

Orlando dealt a 2020 second-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for James Ennis.
