The Jazz franchise has been around since 1974. The organization came into the NBA as the New Orleans Jazz, holding that name for five years before becoming the Utah Jazz in 1979.

For this piece, we'll be taking a look at every trade deadline move the Jazz organization has made in its rich, long history. And just like pretty much every sports team in any professional league, the Jazz have made some stellar deals and some god awful ones.

1974-75

The Jazz traded Rick Adelman and Ollie Johnson to the Kansas City-Omaha Kings for Nate Williams.

New Orleans also sent Jim Barnett and Neal Walk to the New York Knicks for Henry Bibby and a 1975 first-round pick.

1977-78

The Jazz dealt a 1978 second-round pick to the Boston Celtics for Fred Saunders.

1982-83

Utah traded Danny Schayes and cash to the Denver Nuggets for Rich Kelley.

1985-86

The Jazz sent Jeff Wilkins to the San Antonio Spurs for Jeff Cook and Marc Iavaroni.

1993-94

Utah dealt Jeff Malone and a 1994 first-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Sean Green, Jeff Hornacek and a 1995 second-round pick.

1994-95

The Jazz traded Jay Humphries and a 1995 second-round pick to the Boston Celtics for Blue Edwards.

1998-99 lockout year

Utah sent a 2000 second-round pick to the Golden State Warriors for Todd Fuller.

2003-04

The Jazz dealt Keon Clark and Ben Handlogten to the Phoenix Suns for Tom Gugliotta, a 2004 first-round pick, a 2005 second-round pick and a 2010 first-round pick.

Utah also traded DeShawn Stevenson and a 2007 second-round pick to the Orlando Magic for Gordan Giriček.

2009-10

The Jazz sent Ronnie Brewer to the Memphis Grizzlies for a 2011 first-round pick.

2010-11

Utah dealt Deron Williams to the New Jersey Nets for Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, cash, a 2011 first-round pick and a 2013 first-round pick.

2014-15

The Jazz traded Enes Kanter and Steve Novak to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Utah received a 2017 second-round pick from the Detroit Pistons and Grant Jerrett, Kendrick Perkins, Tibor Pleiß and a 2018 first-round pick from the Thunder.

2015-16

Utah sent a 2018 first-round pick to the Chicago Bulls.

The Jazz also got Shelvin Mack from the Atlanta Hawks.

2017-18

Utah traded Rodney Hood to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Jae Crowder, Derrick Rose and a 2024 second-round pick.

The Salt Lake City team also dealt Joe Johnson and cash to the Sacramento Kings.
