Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff and Red Bull boss Christian Horner speak out on the ongoing intense F1 title race between their respective teams.

This season's F1 title race is quite intense. With just two races to go, Max Verstappen is holding an 8-point lead over Lewis Hamilton, which is a slimmer version of the dutchman's advantage after Hamilton bagged two recent race wins. With a ton of championship experience on his belt, Wolff surely knows what it takes to succeed despite the formidable challenge in the form of Red Bull and Verstappen.

“The fight happens on all levels – political, sporting, technical. That’s clear.

“Whoever wins the championships at the end of the year, drivers' and constructors', merits the win because it has been on a very high level.”

Meanwhile, while sharing that the remaining races favor his rival team, Horner is still setting his eyes on a specific goal— winning both F1 titles.

“It's going to be tight,” said Horner. “The next track should arguably favor Mercedes. Abu Dhabi, with the modifications made there, who knows.”

“It's been incredibly tight. We go into these last two races eight points in the lead in the drivers' championship, we've reduced the lead in the constructors' to five points.

“So both are fully in play, and that's fantastic because now we're at the climax of this world championship.”

Will Verstappen hold on to win his first F1 driver's championship with just two races to go? Also, is Mercedes' slim 5-point lead enough to bag the constructor's title? Fans should sit tight because these last two races will indeed have a cardiac finish.
