Deion Jones has missed most of the Atlanta Falcons' season thus far with injury, but is set to return from a foot injury that he suffered earlier this season. His imminent return to the field has quite a few people excited, including a former NFL legend at the linebacker position.

Count Brian Urlacher in on the excitement surrounding Jones' return. In an interview shared by ESPN, Urlacher talked about his thoughts on Jones and how good the Falcons' young linebacker has become.

“That's a bad mother f—–. Is he coming back? I know he got hurt the first game of the year. I like that he can come back from [injured reserve] later in the season. That's a good move.”

He also made his opinion clear that he thinks Jones is one of the defensive stars in the NFL.

“He's already a star, dude. He's the fastest middle linebacker in the NFL. He can cover anybody. He's great in the run game. He's so athletic. He's one of the guys I really love watching play.”

Last season in the 16 games he played with the Falcons, Jones put up huge numbers. He recorded 138 total tackles to go along with a sack, three interceptions, and nine defended passes.

Even at 24 years old, Jones is one of the most talented defensive playmakers in the NFL. He may be a linebacker, but he has the speed and ability to cover almost any player that the Falcons ask him to. Jones has also shown the ability to step up and lead the defense, which is hard to find these days.

Atlanta is currently 4-5 on the season after their blowout loss to the Cleveland Browns. They are fighting for a playoff spot and desperately need help defensively. Jones returning to the field could not have come at a better time.

Expect to see the Falcons' defense take a big step forward with Jones back on the field and for him to make a major immediate impact.
