The Atlanta Falcons suffered yet another disappointing loss on Sunday afternoon, dropping their fifth straight game in a 34-20 defeat at the hands of the Green Bay Packers.

It has pushed them completely out of the playoff picture with three games left in the regular season. Following the game, head coach Dan Quinn voiced that the team will shift things a bit heading into the final stretch, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Falcons have struggled to find any level of consistency this season as they have had issues on both sides of the ball. Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Ryan has continued to put up big numbers that have pushed him to rank third in the league with 4,076 passing yards along with being sixth with 28 passing touchdowns, third with a 70.5 percent completion rate, and fifth with a 108.3 passer rating.

However, this hasn't translated to the team finding success on the field in any capacity over the last five weeks. Instead, the Falcons have continued to head south in what could have been a promising season.

Atlanta had been able to get back to a .500 mark through the first eight games after a rough start with a chance to make a serious run at the playoffs. Instead, the team has continued to falter with each passing week with discouraging losses.

The final three games of the season could be an opportunity for the Falcons to build some positive trends that they could carry into next season.
