Fowler came into the league as the No. 3 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He struggled to fit the billing of former first-round pick. Needless to say, he was never able to truly find his footing in Jacksonville. He was eventually traded to Los Angeles during the 2018 campaign.

It is safe to say that the change of scenery was just what Fowler need to get back on track. He was able to play an integral role in their Super Bowl run. Fowler then enjoyed a career year in 2019 and was able to garner a lucrative price tag in free agency.

Regardless, Fowler still has a tall task ahead of him if he hopes to make NFL history. After all, he witnessed former teammate Aaron Donald fall two sacks shy of Strahan's mark as an interior lineman. It should also be noted that he will no longer have the benefit of playing alongside Donald. Donald is someone that draws double and triple-coverage regularly.
