Despite squaring off against the NFL's highest-scoring offense in the NFC Wild Card game, the Atlanta Falcons are liking their chances in the NFC Wild Card. Part of the reason is that they are at full strength with all their players expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams.

Among the notable names with a clean bill of health is running back Devonta Freeman. Although his return to practice can be attributed to the progression he has made, Freeman credited a higher power for helping him figure out how to stay healthy, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN

“I feel good,” Freeman said. “Because God’s got me. I always was feeling good. . . . In the NFL, you get banged up sometimes. You just have to try and figure out a way to get healthy [and] stay healthy, and I figured it out.”

It was a down year for the two-time Pro Bowler. However, he still managed to pace the team in rushing with 196 carries for 865 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

It should be noted that Freeman missed a pair of games with a knee issue he had suffered in Week 9 versus the Dallas Cowboys. Since he is officially a go for this Saturday, do not be surprised to see the Falcons rely heavily on their dynamic backfield tandem of Freeman and Tevin Coleman.
