Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman hasn't played since Week 1, but he told reporters he feels confident enough to return in Week 5.

Freeman suffered a knee injury in his team's 18-12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the season opener. His knee injury was considered a minor tweak, but clearly this was not the case. Freeman was limited in practice on Wednesday, but Falcons coach Dan Quinn expects the running back to be a full participant the rest of the week.

“I'm in-tune with my body and myself, so I know when I can be me,” Freeman told ESPN Wednesday. “Just getting back out there when I'm comfortable enough. I think right now, I'm comfortable enough to get out there. I feel good. I feel explosive. I'm ready to run.”

Freeman is a two-time Pro Bowler, so he's a big part of his team's offense. He rushed for 865 yards and seven touchdowns last year. Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith have been filling in for him, but they're no replacement for the team's top back.

“I feel good,” Freeman said. “I feel real good, excited, about being out here. Coming out doing something I love to do is always a good time. I'm just excited to be out here.”

The Falcons are 1-3 heading into Week 5. They beat the Carolina Panthers in Week 2, but they've fallen short in two consecutive games since then.

The 1-2-1 Pittsburgh Steelers are also struggling and facing some desperation, so they should give the Falcons an intense competition on Sunday. Regardless of the result, one of these team's should pick up some steam.

As it stands, Atlanta is a 3-point underdog on the road in Pittsburgh, according to BetOnline.ag. To place a bet on the game or any others, click here and use promo code CLUTCH50 for a 50% Welcome Bonus when you signup with BetOnline.ag!
