The Atlanta Falcons signed wide receiver/kick return specialist Trevor Davis to a contract Thursday, in correspondence with their decision to place tight end Jaeden Graham on the IR, according to the Falcons official team website.

Davis, a fifth-round pick out of Cal back in 2016, spent most of his career as a kick/punt return specialist with the Green Bay Packers. Over his four-year career, Davis has averaged just over 10 yards per punt return and 22 yards per kick return. Though he's never had a return touchdown, he has the potential for explosive runbacks and big plays, with career-long punt returns of 65 and 55 yards.

As a speedster who ran a 4.42 40-yard-dash at the NFL combine, Davis will be an explosive weapon for the Falcons in the return game and to be used as a gadget player on end-arounds, screens, and other plays of the like.
