The Atlanta Falcons have kicked off mandatory minicamp on Monday with Grady Jarrett and Julio Jones in attendance according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

They both skipped the voluntary portions of OTA's but the reports all along indicated they would appear once they became mandatory.

Jarrett was franchise tagged by the Falcons so the two sides have until July 15th to work out a new deal or he will be playing this year under the tag. Jones has two years left on his contract and has made it clear that he would like a new deal sooner than later.

There have been questions if a new deal will get done with both guys but Falcons owner Arthur Blank doesn't seem overly concerned.

“We have a salary cap, we have limits, that we have to think about not only today but tomorrow, and we have to balance all that off,” Blank said via NFL.com. “But these are three great young men that we care deeply about, both personally and professionally. They are going to be Falcons for life.

“I'm not worried about getting the deals done. I'm speaking on behalf of Atlanta and Atlanta fans. Thomas [Dimitroff] is working hard to get them done. Coach [Dan] Quinn is supportive as well. It will happen. It's just a matter of when.”

The other player that Blank is referring to is Vic Beasley who is also entering the final year of his deal. The good news is all the players are at practice and getting ready for a big season of Falcons football.
