Jerry Rice on Julio Jones of the Falcons: This is a must-hear discussion. There are a lot of great wide receivers in the NFL, but when one of the greatest wideouts of all time speaks on who he thinks is the best, we should probably listen.

While being interviewed on Adam Schefter's podcast, Hall-of-Famer Jerry Rice said that he feels Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is the best currently playing at his position.

Even if your opinion may differ, it's hard to argue with Rice.

In 15 games this season, Jones hauled in 99 receptions for 1,364 yards and six touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance, his latest monster campaign in what has been a nine-year NFL career full of them.

The 30-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Alabama, was originally selected by the Falcons with the sixth overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft.

It didn't take long for Jones to display his talents, as he caught 54 passes for 959 yards and eight scores during his rookie year and followed that up by snaring 79 balls for 1,198 yards and 10 scores en route to his first Pro Bowl selection in his second season.

Overall, Jones has made seven Pro Bowl appearances while earning First-Team All-Pro honors twice throughout his NFL tenure, leading the league in both catches (136) and receiving yards (1,871) in 2015. He then paced the NFL in yards again in 2018, finishing with 1,677.

While Julio Jones may not get the national attention of wide outs like Antonio Brown or Odell Beckham Jr., he has been arguably the most consistent wide receiver in the league since being drafted.
