Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Julio Jones became the fastest wideout to cross the 11,000 career receiving yards plateau in NFL history, doing so in 115 games.

Per NFL Update on Twitter, Calvin Johnson was the previous record-holder at 127 career games.

The 30-year-old Jones, a six-time Pro-Bowl receiver, reached the milestone on a 20-yard reception against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in the 1-2 Falcons' Week 4 matchup.

Jones was selected by the Falcons in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Alabama. In just his ninth professional season, all with Atlanta, the 6-foot-3 Jones cannot stop racking up milestones and rewriting NFL history. Entering this year, Jones already tallied 10,731 receiving yards, needing only four games and 20 more receptions to eclipse the 11,000 mark.

Jones has been a fixture of Atlanta's offense since his arrival in the league, helping former NFL MVP Matt Ryan and the Falcons put points on the board for nearly a decade. Jones previously led the NFL in receiving yards last year and during the 2015 season. He's also a two-time All-Pro first team member and on his way to Canton, Ohio, to join the Hall of Fame with his electric play.

The previous fastest player to 11,000 receiving yards was Detroit Lions stalwart tight end Calvin Johnson, who spent nine seasons with the Motor City franchise as the most dominant pass-catching threat in the NFL. Like Jones, Johnson needed to reach the milestone in his ninth season.

However, “Megatron” retired at the age of 30 following the historic achievement in 2015.
