Although bothered by a hip flexor injury which limited him in practice last week, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones confirmed that he'd be able to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.

Jones suffered the injury in the Falcons' Week 4 loss to the Buffalo Bills. However, the star receiver had an extra week to recover from that injury after Atlanta had their bye, allowing him to be good to go.

“I feel great,” Jones told reporters Thursday. “We just have a plan here. I've been doing it the whole year. So, limited means really nothing. I'll be ready to go.”

Jones is having a somewhat down year by his high standards. He has 25 catches for 367 receiving yards and no touchdowns, which sees him outside the top 20 in the league in the three categories. He's too good to be kept down for too long, though. If he stays relatively healthy, he's bound to get going at some point.

The Falcons better hope it's sooner rather than later. Atlanta was without No. 2 receiver Mohamed Sanu for their shocking loss to the Dolphins due to a hamstring injury, so even more pressure will be on Jones to perform at the All-Pro-caliber level he's capable of.
