The Atlanta Falcons are coming off an impressive win over the Los Angeles Rams in which they were able to go on the road and show they may still be the team to beat in the NFC. Although the defending NFC champions have advanced to the divisional round, there is some concern about superstar wide receiver Julio Jones' health moving forward.

According to Wendy Adams of Falcons Radio Network, head coach Dan Quinn let it be known that Jones was the only player on the team to be held out of practice on Tuesday.

Jones, who has always had injury issues over the course of his NFL career, has been battling an ankle injury for quite some time now which is nothing new. However, Jones is apparently also dealing with an injury to his ribs which is a new development as the team prepares to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in another game on the road this weekend.

The veteran wideout had a solid performance against the Rams in the Wild Card matchup with the perennial Pro Bowler catching nine passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown grab was only the fourth he's caught all season long, but it came at the right time as it helped seal the deal against the Rams who simply couldn't keep up with the more experienced veteran squad.

Obviously, Jones will be a vital piece to the championship puzzle for the Falcons if they expect to get back to the Super Bowl and come out victorious this time around. His health will be monitored from week to week and will almost certainly be the team's biggest concern in the final stretch.
