With a 13-catch, 137-yard and two-touchdown performance against the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones set a franchise record for the most 100-yard, 2 TD games in a career.

Jones, who caught the game-winning, five-yard touchdown with five seconds left, registered his 10th such game of his career which passed Andre Rison who had nine, 100-yard, 2 TD games in his five years as a Falcon.

Rison, who spent 1990-94 in Atlanta, was a four-time Pro Bowler with the team and led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 1993 with 15 to go along with over 1,200 yards.

Jones, the sixth pick of the 2011 NFL Draft has been one of the best receivers in the league since his career started. This year, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound wideout has racked up 69 catches for 1,106 and four touchdowns.

The Falcons star had one 100-yard, 2 TD game earlier this season. In week two against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jones reeled in five of his 10 targets for 106 yards and two scores.

The first such game in Jones' career came in just week six of his rookie year when he racked up 131 yards and two touchdowns on only three receptions.

Although the Falcons rank seventh in the NFL in yards per game, the offense has struggled in the red zone and has lacked the explosiveness of years past. Also, a defense that has allowed 26.4 points per game certainly won't help the team win games.

So, despite another solid year from the former Alabama product, the Falcons sit at just 5-9 and are tied for third place in the NFC South.
