Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is looking likely to play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers.

The star wideout is still nursing the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, causing him to leave the game after catching two passes for 24 yards. Jones missed the team's Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears.

On Thursday, Falcons coach Dan Quinn told the media that Jones has participated in walkthroughs this week and looks on track to suit up for the Monday kick-off.
Wide receivers Calvin Ridley (21 receptions, 349 yards, four TDs), Russell Gage (17 receptions, 186 yards, one TD) and tight end Hayden Hurst (nine receptions, 111 yards, two TDs) have stepped up for QB Matt Ryan in Jones's absence.

The Falcons could use all the help they can get as they seek their first win of the 2020 season. Atlanta has improbably blown double-digit fourth quarter leads in back-to-back weeks — the odds of which are incomprehensibly miniscule.

Of course, Quinn is no stranger to overseeing historic choke-jobs, as you may recall the Falcons losing a Super Bowl to the New England Patriots after building a 28-3 second-half lead.

With or without Julio Jones, the road to a win on Monday night looks extremely uphill. The Packers (3-0) have been one of the most impressive teams in football this season, led by a ticked off Aaron Rodgers, who currently sits atop the NFL MVP race alongside Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.

Jones, 31, opened his 10th NFL season with nine receptions (12 targets) for 157 yards in Week 1. The seven-time Pro Bowler is Atlanta's franchise leader in receiving yards (12,306), and he needs one catch to break a tie with Roddy White to become the Falcons all-time leader in receptions.
