Over the past couple of seasons, Julio Jones has been longing to receive a new deal from the Atlanta Falcons. Recently, Jones gave some reassurance to fans that he plans on staying in Atlanta.

In a video on TMZ Sports, Jones made it be known that he won't hold out for a new contract with the Falcons. Jones has two years remaining on his current contract, but he wants a new deal that pays him like one of the best receivers in the NFL—and deservedly so.

The Falcons' All-Pro wideout seems very confident that a deal is going to get done sometime soon. Jones also reiterated the fact that Arthur Blank—the owner of the Falcons—has promised a new contract soon.

In 2019, Jones is currently slated to make $9.6 million, which would make him the 13th-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL this season. Last offseason, Jones skipped some of the offseason programs before the Falcons gave him a slight raise to appease him for the time being.

Now, Atlanta has to work diligently to get a deal done for their Pro-Bowl wide receiver. It's reassuring Jones isn't going to hold out, but that doesn't mean the Falcons can take their time coming up with his new deal. As Deion Sanders would say: Pay the man.
