After Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman punctured the Arizona Cardinals defense for 145 yards and a touchdown during a blowout win on Sunday, Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones sang his praises.

“I mean, he's an amazing running back,” said Jones, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com. “He doesn't get the credit he deserves, but he's one of the best backs in the league, by far. His speed, his vision, everything about him.”

Coleman is set to be a free agent this offseason, but Jones is hoping Atlanta brings him back.

“Yeah, I'd like to see Tevin [back],” Jones said. “But, you know, I don't make those decisions.”

On the year overall, Coleman has rushed for 704 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. In addition, he has hauled in 31 receptions for 267 yards and five scores.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Indiana, was originally selected by the Falcons in the third round (73rd pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He totaled 392 yards and a touchdown during his rookie campaign, and the following year, Coleman finished with 520 yards and eight scores on the ground while catching 31 passes for 421 yards and three touchdowns.

Then, last year, Coleman tallied 628 yards while reaching the end zone five times as a rusher, adding three receiving scores on top of that.

With the win over the Cardinals, the Falcons improved to 5-9 on the season. They will spend their final two weeks of the year on the road, taking on the Carolina Panthers next week before finishing up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 30.
