It's no secret that NFL wide receiver Julio Jones has been spending much of his time with Pro Football Hall of Fame wideout Terrell Owens. They've been working out together this offseason while Julio stays far away from his employer during this time in which he wants a new contract.

It now appears as though his employer, the Atlanta Falcons, are “uneasy” about this budding friendship, says D. Orlando Ledbetter while on ESPN Radio in Charlotte.

“The fact that he’s running around with Terrell Owens has the front office uneasy,” Ledbetter said.

“The coach was expecting him in here,” Ledbetter said. “Then a few weeks later Julio informed them he’s not going to be here.”

Jones, 29, has skipped everything Falcons-related this offseason. It's sent a clear message that he's not happy with his current contractual situation and wants a new deal. Spending time with T.O.—the very same man who went from top Philadelphia Eagles wideout to disgruntled employee due to a contract dispute—is something those dirty birds are completely locked on and paying attention to.

Ledbetter also explained that Jones wants “an adjustment” to his contract while announcing the relationship between him and the franchise is “in a bad place right now.”

It's expected that Jones will attend training camp, but there's obviously a big issue in Atlanta right now between the two sides. Is the presence of Terrell Owens helping or hurting the situation? It has to be the only question the Atlanta Falcons are currently asking themselves.
