Despite the recent rumors, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank isn't looking to trade Julio Jones or Matt Ryan this offseason and is confident they'll return in 2021.

During a recent interview with the NFL Network, Blank discussed what his expectations are for Jones this upcoming season with the Falcons.

“We expect Julio to be a Falcon, to be playing next year at a very high level as well,” Blank said on Thursday, via Nick Shook of the NFL Official Website. “God-willing, taking care of his body, his hamstring will be healed up. He'll be able to play in more games than he played last year (with the Falcons). I know he's trying as hard as he can, and he's an athlete and a competitor and he'll be able to do it. So they'll both be with us.”

This past season, Julio Jones had a dreadful season — as he suffered from hamstring injury that caused him to miss seven games with the Falcons. However, despite missing seven games, Jones was still able to put up decent numbers. The 31-year-old receiver caught 51 passes for 771 yards and three touchdowns. He also averaged 85.1 receiving yards per game, which was the seventh-highest in the league.

Matt Ryan will return to the Falcons as well, according to Arthur Blank.

This is what the Falcons' owner said:

“Matt has played at a very high level for us since 2008 when we drafted him. He and Drew Brees are the only quarterbacks in the history of the NFL that have thrown for more than 4,000 yards over a 10-year period of time consistently. He's performed beautifully, was MVP of the league one year. So Matt can still play at a very high level and we expect him to be a Falcon next year, fully.”

The Falcons finished the season at 4-12, the second-worst record in the NFC.

Nevertheless, if the Falcons are able to stay healthy this upcoming season and are able to sign a couple of prominent defensive players in the offseason, they could be a potential playoff team.

The Falcons own the fourth pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
