In the last two seasons, veteran wide receiver Taylor Gabriel has called the Atlanta Falcons his home in the NFL. However, it appears that Gabriel's brief time in Atlanta is coming to an end as he has voiced his appreciation for the organization taking a chance on him, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN.

“I love the Falcons but, like I always say, it's a business, man,” Gabriel told ESPN. “You never know what's going on upstairs and things like that. But I love the Falcons. I'm very grateful for the opportunity that they gave me.

“Going to a Super Bowl with those guys in that locker room, the brotherhood and being a part of that, that's a blessing, man. That's why I said I want to be a Falcon forever. That's something special. That's something that you don't get going from team to team. And that's a brotherhood that I'll forever, forever remember if I'm with them or if I'm not with them.”

The 26-year-old has proven to be a key part of the Falcons' Super Bowl run in the 2016 season ever since he was acquired by the team after being cut from the Cleveland Browns. He has been a big-play asset in the passing game, grabbing 35 catches on 49 targets for 579 receiving yards with six touchdowns along with 51 rushing yards on four carries with a touchdown. Gabriel also was huge in the playoffs, hauling in nine catches for 171 receiving yards.

However, his production dropped off this past season as he made just 33 catches on 51 targets for 378 receiving yards and a touchdown. This, along with the need to acquire an additional deep ball threat to pair with All-Pro wideout Julio Jones, should lead the team to look elsewhere in free agency to get that talent.

Still, Gabriel should have no trouble in finding another team as he has proven to have big-ability that can have a major impact in not only the passing game but also as a runner.
