The Atlanta Falcons are in the thick of the playoff picture heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.

According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of AJC.com, the Falcons will have another piece of the offense back in the mix this weekend with running back Tevin Coleman clearing the NFL's concussion protocol on Thursday.

Coleman was limited in Wednesday practice, which marked his first time participating in the last two weeks. He originally suffered the concussion in Week 14 against the New Orlean Saints and missed this past Monday's 24-21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 24-year-old has proven to be a valuable asset in both the running and passing game despite placing second on the depth chart behind Devonta Freeman. Coleman currently has 593 rushing yards and five touchdowns while also recording 22 catches for 245 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has also been effective in a couple of spot starts in place of Freeman this season, breaking the 100-yards from scrimmage plateau twice.

The Falcons are in position to lock up both the NFC South division title and a playoff berth for the second straight year if they win out. They are set to face the Saints for the second time in the last three weeks on Sunday afternoon.
