The Atlanta Falcons made a splash with the addition of running back Todd Gurley in free agency. He has wasted no time making his presence felt against the Seattle Seahawks in the 2020 NFL season opener.

Gurley was able to punch in a carry at the goal line for his first touchdowns with the Falcons, via NFL reporter Dov Kleiman:

The Falcons signed Todd Gurley on a one-year prove-it deal following his release from the Los Angeles Rams this offseason to become a new focal point in their offense. He is now looking to provide them with plenty of bang for their buck with his skill set as a bonafide workhorse.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding how many touches head coach Dan Quinn plans on giving Gurley this season since his injury history leaves room for concern.

Regardless, the balance Todd Gurley provides on offense has seemingly started to pay some dividends.
