While the festivities took place on the court following the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ dramatic Game 7 victory over the Golden State Warriors, a much more serious incident occurred in the stands.

According to a report from the Associated Press, a fan attending the game at Oracle Arena fell from the stadium's top deck to the bottom one. Given the architecture of one of the oldest buildings in the NBA, his fall wasn't as far as it would've been in other arenas, but it still could've taken his life.

The man, identified in his early 20s, was taken to a hospital immediately after. He's reportedly in critical, yet stable condition.
